Further scientific and educational cooperation between Karelia and Belarus in the fields of forestry and agriculture, medicine and education
From 1 to 4 November 2015 Minsk (Belarus) entertained the official delegation of the Republic of Karelia headed by M.Sokolov, Deputy Head of Republic, a Permanent Representative of the Republic of Karelia of the President of the Russian Federation. The delegation from the scientific and educational community of the Republic of Karelia included Petrozavodsk State University’s vice-rector for research V.Syunyov, Head of the Laboratory of new methods of physiological research A.Meygal, and a representative of the engineering center of PetrSU E.Tihonov.
"We took part in the meeting of the working group on cooperation between Belarus and Karelia, visited the facilities and scientific and educational organizations. During the visit, the parties discussed issues of bilateral relations between Belarus and Karelia. We outlined the ways of further scientific cooperation in the fields of forestry, agriculture, medicine, and education," said V.Syunyov after the trip.
