On November 5-6, in the framework of the Cooperation Agreement with the Department of Human Resources of Hungary, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science held a meeting between representatives of Russian and Hungarian universities
The meeting was held at the Russian Scientific and Cultural Centre in Budapest. Petrozavodsk State University was represented by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs K.Tarasov.
Hungary was represented by eight universities. The Russian side, besides Petrozavodsk State University, was represented by Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, MISA, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Russian Chemical-Technological University, Saratov State Technical University, and Tver State Technical University.
"The presentations touched upon the issues of cooperation between universities of the two countries. In the near future Petrozavodsk State University will create an All-Russia center of expertise on Russian-Hungarian cooperation, which will also oversee and issues of academic exchange," said K.Tarasov on returning from Hungary.
To recap, in October 2015, our university became the head of the International Association of Finno-Ugric universities.
