PetrSU took part in a sports exhibition dedicated to sport and physical education for people with disabilities held in Tampere
From 5 to 7 November 2015 Associate professor of the theory and methodology of physical education of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism of PetrGU Larisa M. Kielevainen and a member of the Republican specialized youth sports school of Olympic reserve Julia Rudnik took part in one of the largest sports exhibitions devoted to sports and physical culture for people with disabilities held in Tampere (Finland).
The exhibition shows the different types of physical activity: ballroom dancing, goalball, archery, gymnastics, golf, horse riding and nearly all paralympic sports (rugby, hockey, and so on). The participants were given an opportunity to familiarize themselves with those sports in practice.
The participation was made possible by the invitation of the Director of the Department of Education and Culture of the Agency of regional government of Eastern Finland Matti Ruuska and his colleague Anu Hämäläinen.
